BEST Basics:  Human Trafficking Prevention Training


When Brittany was 14 years old, she attended school every day and had plenty of friends. A guy who lived near her bus stop convinced her to spend time with him. Before she knew it, he began selling Brittany to men who paid him to have sex with a child. Brittany had become a victim of human trafficking.

Human trafficking is the fastest growing crime in the United States. ​By watching this video, you may help prevent the exploitation of kids like Brittany within your day-to-day job.

​Human trafficking presents itself in two forms: sex trafficking and labor trafficking. Both involve force, fraud or coercion, and result in the exploitation of the most vulnerable people in our society.
